Vanuatu grants full, legally regulated citizenship through its Development Support Program (DSP) in exchange for a contribution to the state. Vanuatu is a sovereign Commonwealth nation; citizenship includes a passport and is hereditary. Budget the side costs on top of either route: civil status registration of USD 1,500 per person, biometric enrolment of USD 1,000 for the principal applicant and USD 800 per dependent, and a 3% surcharge if paying in USDT.

Who it fits, and who it does not
You need a fast, legal second passport with no residence requirement; your mobility goals are in Asia, the Middle East or the Commonwealth; you treat the passport as insurance, not as a ticket to Europe.
You want visa-free access to the EU or the UK; you expect tax effects from the passport alone; or your background or source of funds would not pass serious due diligence. We do not take on such mandates.
A second passport by itself changes nothing about your tax residency. If what you actually want is a new center of life, a residency route such as the UAE Golden Visa is often the better building block.

For families of three or four CIIP is cheaper even before any redemption; for a single applicant it only wins if the USD 50,000 actually returns, and that depends on fund terms and performance and is not guaranteed.
