Discuss this option →You own a new-build Lagoon catamaran outright at the end of the seven-year programme. Minimum retained vessel value at exit is set to cover the original investment.
Our Croatian operating partner manages the vessel under a structured seven-year agreement. Charter income services the leasing instalments and operating costs.
Two high-season weeks and two shoulder-season weeks per year. Split, Hvar, Korčula, Dubrovnik, the Kornati archipelago. Handover, provisioning, and turnaround handled.
Investors who want it can layer Croatian residency on top by taking the directorship of the operating company. Schengen mobility on issuance of the residence card. Path to permanent residence at year five, EU citizenship at year ten. Pure investors can skip this layer entirely.
Vessel pricing, charter performance data, financing structure, and Croatian counsel introductions are shared once we are in qualified conversation.
Open a conversationA Croatian limited liability company (d.o.o.) is incorporated in your sole ownership. The d.o.o. acquires the catamaran: you fund the 30% down payment, a Croatian bank finances the remaining 70% through a seven-year operating lease. Our local partner on the ground in Croatia coordinates the incorporation, the financing, the charter management, and the residency option for those who want it.
Limited-liability company incorporated in Croatia, sole shareholder is you. The d.o.o. holds the vessel asset, the lease, and the charter agreement.
Croatian leasing partner finances 70% of the vessel cost through a seven-year operating lease in the name of the d.o.o. Instalments serviced by charter income.
Coordinates d.o.o. incorporation, bank lease, vessel delivery, seven-year charter management, minimum-income guarantee, and (optionally) Croatian residency application.
The Croatian operating partner's minimum monthly income guarantee is set at a level that covers the lease instalment plus operating costs. At Year 7 the operating lease is fully amortised and the vessel transfers to your Croatian operating company free and clear, subject to the operating partner servicing the lease across the term.
Indicative annual flow under the structure: ≈ €68K of charter income is contemplated to cover the ≈ €58K operating-lease instalment, with ≈ €10K of historical average surplus available for annual distribution where charter performance allows. Subject to the operating partner servicing the lease across the term, the vessel transfers to the Croatian operating company at Year 7.
Not a projection by TKA.The numbers above are illustrative and originate from the Croatian operating partner. TKA acts solely as introducer and does not provide investment, legal, immigration, or tax advice. Actual figures depend on the vessel selected, financing terms, charter market performance, operating costs, vessel resale market at Year 7, FX, and macroeconomic conditions. Minimum retained vessel value reflects the operating partner's contractual commitment, not a TKA guarantee. Annual surplus reflects historical reference data from comparable vessels and is not a forecast. The indicative ≈ 2× return is shown pre-tax and before Year 7 exit structuring; Croatian corporate tax, VAT on vessel sale, and dividend withholding tax may apply at exit and can reduce the realised net return materially depending on how the exit is structured. Independent Croatian counsel, financial, and tax advice must be obtained before any commitment.

First conversations are direct with Lucas. Discovery calls run thirty minutes, focused on whether the programme fits.
Tell us a little about what you are exploring. Once we have a sense of fit, we share the programme overview, walk you through the structure, and arrange a direct introduction to the Croatian operating partner who provides the detailed pricing and operating data.
High-level answers below. Detailed financial mechanics, vessel economics, structure diagrams, and risk framework are in the investor brief.
The structure involves a meaningful down payment (typically a third of the vessel price) and a seven-year operating lease covering the balance. Detailed pricing across all three vessel tiers is shared directly by the Croatian operating partner once we are in qualified conversation.
Both routes are available. Investors who simply want the catamaran ownership, charter income, and personal use can stop at the investment. Those who want Croatian residency take the additional step of becoming director of the operating company and applying for the directorship-based residence permit. The decision can be made at the outset or revisited later.
Visa application typically runs six to nine months from incorporation to residence card issuance. Schengen mobility is granted from the date the residence card is issued, not before. During the application window, you may visit Croatia on a tourist visa or remain in your home country.
Spouse and minor children may apply for residence as accompanying family members under Croatian immigration law, subject to standard documentation requirements. The specific eligibility and timeline depend on the family configuration and are confirmed by independent Croatian immigration counsel before any commitment.
Not automatically. Holding a Croatian residence permit does not by itself create Croatian tax residency. Tax residency is generally triggered by physical presence of more than 183 days per year or by establishing centre of vital interests in Croatia. Independent Croatian tax advice is required for your specific position.
TKA acts solely as introducer of qualified investors to our Croatian operating partner. We do not provide investment, legal, immigration, or tax advice. We coordinate the introduction, pre-qualify the investor, and ensure independent Croatian counsel is engaged before any commitment.
